Junior Mining Investor brings together the combined wisdom of 14 mining-industry veterans to reveal how they make money speculating, trading and investing in junior mining and exploration stocks. These issues trade like no other sector and the potential to double or even triple your investment in 2-3 days means you have to be in the right stock at the precise time. Each succinct chapter presents the author's strategy and offers step-by-step guidance on implementing it for maximum profits.
These analysts are newsletter writers, hedge fund managers, discovery geologists, and industry veterans who have one thing in common a winning record and proven philosophy in the ever-changing gold and resource stock market. They understand the key fundamentals to investing in the resource sector and have created life-changing wealth for many of their clients.

Gold, silver, platinum, uranium, nickel, copper and various other base metals have been in a bull market since 2001 and will most likely continue for many years as the economic growth in China, India, Brazil, and Russia demands ever-increasing amounts of the world's raw materials.

One of the best ways to invest in these commodities is through mining and exploration companies that explore for, discover, develop and mine these valuable resources.

Junior mining and explorations stocks provide exposure to the metals market. And since they have a 'small' market capitalization, typically between $10 and $300 million, these companies offer great leverage and the chance to multiply your money rapidly, if done correctly.

In Junior Mining Investor, you will learn how to buy and sell stocks listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and Canada's Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX-Venture - where over 60% of the world's exploration companies are listed. Many of these companies do not trade on the broad U.S. exchanges, so it is critical that you understand how to access these foreign markets.

This book is for investors who wish to gain the necessary fundamentals to speculate in this exciting, dynamic, and profitable market. Small-cap junior mining and exploration stocks are a proven way to play the current bull market in precious metals, base metals and uranium. And with the right knowledge, many investors are making big gains.

This collection of essays is generally quite superficial and appears to be reprints of articles appearing on the various authors' web sites. For example, the endnote of Ch. 6, "How to Choose a Uranium Stock," which chapter is only 2-1/2 pages long, reads "This list was compiled by Kevin Brambaugh and Jean Francois Tardif of Sprott Asset Management and is presented on [...]...." Chapter 11, "World Class Deposits: Why You Should Study Past Winners," has less than a page of text followed by a list of 30 companies to study. Nowhere do I find an in-depth demonstration of successfully valuing mining stocks. That said, it was an enjoyable read. I also found "An Insiders Guide to the Mining Sector" to be similarly superficial, but well written and enjoyable.

Junior Mining Investor eBook Kevin Corcoran Reviews

As a single mother of two, trying to find reliable and informative advice regarding investment in the natural resource sector has been very difficult - until I found this book. The author gives you 14 of the most authoritative resources in this sector, all of which have helped me make excellent choices in this arena. Thank you MR CORCORAN for writing this book!!
I was hesitant to purchase Junior Mining Investor after reading one of the reviews, but was more than happy with the information I gained after reading this book. I have invested in gold and natural resource stocks since 2001 and recently became more involved in the markets after learning about a major gold discovery in the Yukon Territory of Canada. The book focuses on small capitalization mining and exploration companies that are listed on the Canadian Venture Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange (and to a lesser extent the Australian Stock Exchange and American Exchanges), and hunt for minerals across the globe.

The chapters are brief and concise and one or two of them can be found on the web. But other than that, the book is thorough and covers all the major natural resources, past discoveries and ore grades, strategies to pick potential "10 Baggers," and how to interpret 43-101 reports and news releases. Two chapters, one by Brian Fagan on valuing mining stocks and one of the author's chapters on converting U.S. dollars to Canadian dollars for purchasing Canadian stocks through U.S. online brokers (think Scottrade and Ameritrade) were worth the price alone.
As the economy becomes sour I have started looking around for where the smarrt investment money is going. Historically gold, silver, and other precious metals have been a hedge in questionable times. This book proved to be a valuable book in introducing me to another way of investing in precious metals without having to buying Certificates or taking ownership of the metal.

I found the book to be an easy read for a novice investor. I think I understand enough about the risks and rewards of this type of investing. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in diversifying their precious metals portfolio.
I read this book in an afternoon and really felt cheated. I was expecting to get a good primer on investing in natural resources; instead I lost several hours of my life I will never get back and I am now better informed than before I started this book. As always caveat emptor on the recommendation as it is my opinion.
Eventhough some of the referenced sites are no longer available, this is a must read for the serious penny & sub-penny mining speculator and investor. It offers 14 resource experts tips and tricks then pointing you
to expanded references in their areas of expertise.

This book helps to diminish the hope aspects of our investing problems,
and excellent book
Must read if you are a mining/resource investor. I practically underlined and highlighted the whole book.
Various chapters written by different industry experts covering mining related information, precious metals in particular. I found some of the information informative and some not as much. Overall, I learned new information from this book.
